Jessica Szohr

Jessica Szohr is an American actress born on 31 March 1985, in a small town in Wisconsin, USA. She engaged herself in modelling from the young age of six. She was a multi-talented kid who can play soccer, was a member of Student Council, modelling works, and even set up a cleaning workshop to clean houses and earn money. At the age of ten, she got the fruitful chance to model for the Quaker Oats, and then went on to model several print ads like Kohl’s departmental store, Mountain Dew, Jockey, Sears, Crate & Barrel, JanSport.

She then joined the Menomonee Falls High School and graduated one semester early. She then moved to Los Angeles at the age of seventeen to get more chances in the field of Hollywood. With her stunning and exotic looks, she immediately got the opportunity as the offers came rolling in towards her. She made her debut on the small screen in the third season of the series My Wife and Kids. In the same year, she made her debut as a movie actress in the premiere Uncle Nino. Though her roles were limited, she happily accepted them as she improved step-by-step in her career. Some of the other smaller parts that she engaged in include Joan of Arcadia, That’s So Raven, CSI: Miami, What I like about You, Drake & Josh.

Her breakthrough as donning the main character came in 2007 for the series What About Brian. Her performance got her a ticket into the next series of Gossip Girl where she played the lead role of Vanessa. But later it was informed that she would not be returning for the final season, yet she managed to appear in a cameo role for the series finale. She also played minor character roles in films like Fired Up, Somebody Help Me, The Reading Room. Then, she was on board for the horror flick Piranha 3D.

This success won her the Breakthrough Actress in Film award in the year 2010. She was in People magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful People in The World list. After this, she got roped into the cast for the motion picture Love, Wedding, Marriage. She played in movies like Hiroki, Art Machine, Love Bite, Light Years.
