Alexia Rasmussen

Alexia Rasmussen is an English Actor known for her movies like California Solo, Proxy, and Listen to Your Heart. Alexia had studied the theatre for almost ten years before being cast in films. Alexia studied at the Tisch School of the Arts from New York University and got trained in Experimental Theatre, Classical Studio and International Theatre Wing in Amsterdam.

She has been a part of the film industry, for the past nine years. She has a variety of roles to her credit in various movies. In the 2010 movie Listen to your Heart, she played the main protagonist ‘Ariana’,a wealthy girl who is deaf. The story revolves around how a singer cum songwriter falls in love with her at first sight , but the girl cannot hear the music that she inspires him to write.

In 2011, she was cast in supporting role for  the movie “ The Comedy Click to look into! >> Read More... ” which starred Tim Heidecker and was directed and co-written by Rick Alverson. The narrative of the film was not clear, but the plot revolved around the character of Tim Heidecker and his life in general.

In 2012 came the film “California Solo”. Alexia Rasmussen played the role of Beau in the same film. The film focuses on the life of a Britpop rocker who got deported from Los Angeles for drunk driving.  The main protagonist actor was Robert Carlyle, who played the role of Lachlan MacAldonich, the Britpop Rocker. The film was written and directed by Marshal Lewy. Alexia felt that the role was challenging and so far this was her best performance.

After the California Solo, in 2013, Alexia did a film called “Proxy” by Zack Parker. The film, written by Zack Parker and Kevin Donner focuses on the life of three parents who had lost a child and how they are fighting to keep their sanity intact. Alexia portrayed the role of Esther Woodhouse the film.
