Amelia Warner is a musician and actor with an English origin who works with another name Slow Moving Millie. She was born in Amelia Catherine Bennett in Merseyside, United Kingdom. Warner is the only child of two well-known actors, Annette Ekblom and Alun Lewis. Hywel Bennett is her maternal uncle. Royal Court’s youth theatre group gave a start to her acting career, and she acted in a 2000 BBC adaption of Lorna Doone. She has also had supporting roles in film like Aeon Flux and ‘Stoned’.

She has two children, and both are girls. Warner gave birth to her first baby girl on November 21, 2013, and in March they said that she had welcomed her second girl child also, in the mid of February, with her husband, Dornan. Along with being an actress, she is a music artist too and began her music career in July 2009 when she performed for a Virgin Media television channel under the name “Slow Moving Millie”.
Her first written and performed song which came out on August 17, 2009 was called “Beasts”. Her second single was “Rewind City”, which came for another advertisement “Orange UK”, directed by Ringan Ledwidge. She signed a record deal with Island Records in October 2011. On 11 November 2011, she released “Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want”. This went on to feature in the Christmas as of John Lewis 2011.
She released her album ‘Renditions’ and in 2015 self-released a classical instrumental EP titled, ‘Arms’. Her filmography includes Kavanagh QC, ‘Aristocrats’, Casualty: “Eye Spy”, Mansfield Park, ‘Quills’, Walking The Dead, Take a Girl Like You, ‘Mountaineering’, and much more.
