Garrett Hedlund

Garrett John Hedlund is a Hollywood actor, singer, and model from Roseau, Minnesota. He has two elder siblings Nathaniel and Amanda and was born to Robert Martin Hedlund and Kristine Anne. He is of Swedish, Norwegian, and German ancestry from the sides of his mother and father respectively. Most of his childhood were spent near Wannaska, Minnesota in a small town. He moved away from his beef cattle farm when he was in grade ten and stayed with his mother in the city of Arizona. He learned speech delivery from Jean Fowler, an acting coach, and saved money to do so by working as a waiter. Soon after this, he modeled for a magazine: L.L. Bean and Teen. He played the role of Jack Mercer in the 2005 movie Four Brothers. He was next seen in Eragon, in 2006, playing the character of Murtagh.
