Carlo Alban was born on 3rd October 1979 in the Republic of Ecuador. He is also known by the name Carlos Alban.Â
Alban was raised by his family in the Sayreville city of the New Jersey. He is an alumnus of the Rutgers University, which is also known as The State University of New Jersey. Â He did his Majors in visual art from Rutgers.Â
After graduating in 1996, Alban began his career in acting with short films. Â Â Â Â Â
Alban’s first performance in front of the camera was in a CTW (Children’s Television Workshop) production, ‘Imagine That!’ in 1996. The movie was written by Nancy Sans and directed by Steve Feldman and Jon Stone. This was an animated short film based on the friendship and adventures of few friends. The movie gave the message that for enjoying life fully, a person needs nothing but a good imagination. Â
After working on various short films, Alban was finally cast in a production by Giv’en Films and Posthorn Pictures, Hurricane Streets in 1997. The movie was directed by Morgon Freeman. In this movie, he was in the lead. He played the role of Benny, a teenager. This show was based on the lives of four kids from the streets of Manhattan, who have their own problems in life and take the wrong path of shoplifting and drugs dealing. Â
Alban is best known for his work in the movie, 21 Grams of 2003. The movie was directed by Alejandro G. Inarritu and written by Guillermo Arriaga. The story was about the lives of three people, a mathematician, an ex-con, and a sad mother, who are brought together by destiny. He played the role of Lucio. It was a supporting role. The actor received rave reviews from the critics for his role.
In 2014, Alban worked for a short film, based on a war drama, named The Bravest, The Boldest. This was a Pactum Films production which also starred Sameerah Harris and HishamTawfiq. Carlo played the role of Chaplain Lieutenant Torres. The movie was about a mother who receives the news of her son’s death in the war field.Â
Carlo also starred in the All-Stars 25th Birthday: Stars and ‘Street Forever!’ in 1994. He featured in the show with sixty other stars. This was a special TV program by CTW.Â
In 2011, Carlo was accused of traveling without a visa for the shooting of his movie, Sesame Street Sesame Street is a preschool educational TV show t >> Read More... .Â
