Tom Sheahan is a known executive producer, director and cinematographer from the United Kingdom. He went to Kingston College to pursue his Master’s Degree in Social Anthropology, specialising in ethnicity and conflict in Burma. Later, he earned an MA in documentary direction from National Film and Television School. Tom Sheahan has worked in different industries, showcasing his proficiency and skill in multiple sectors. For example, he started his career with the Burma Action Group. However, soon Tom Sheahan joined Cinema Cafe Productions as a producer. In 2000, he joined Granada Television as an assistant producer.

Eventually, he started working as a series producer at BBC and he contributed to the series ‘Crude Britannia: The Story of North Sea Oil,’ A three-part series about the history of North Sea Oil. Apart from that, he has done multiple projects with BBC. For almost six months, he was employed at Freshwater Films as producer, director, and cinematographer. Subsequently, he served as a series producer at INT Production. Apart from that, he has worked with Shine, Freshwater Films, and Betty as an executive producer. He has been working as a producer for more than 20 years and has won several awards, including the Bafta Award, RTS Award, ITV Silver Award, and Focal Award.
