Ron Kennell is a Canadian stage and film actor, and also a writer. He was born on the 30th of May, 1970 in Stratford, Canada. He started his career performing on stage and has donned 20 of Shakespeare’s plays including Romeo and Juliet. In 1999, he appeared in the Canadian action drama series La Femme Nikita and the syndicated TV show, Amazon. This was followed by more performances on television shows like the Odyssey 5, Sue Thomas: F.B. Eye, Mutant X, Starhunter, True Crimes: The First 72 Hours, Against the Wall, Lost Girl, The Listener, and many more.
He became popular for his role as “The Darkness” in the first season of the American TV series, Reign. Ron also did small stints in many films like Flowers of Algernon (2000), Bait (2000), The Royal Diaries: Elizabeth I – Red Rose of the House of Tudor (2000), Feast of All Saints (2001), Recipe for Murder (2002), Crime Spree (2003), The Conspiracy (2012), Pompeii (2014), etc.
