Idina Menzel

Her mother is Helena who is a therapist, and her father is Stuart Mentzel, who is a pajama sales person. She received her primary education from Syosset High School. Idina worked at an early age as a singer at weddings and bar since her parents got separated in 1986. She continued her job and later joined the New York University’s Tisch School. She learnt fine arts there and took a keen interest in drama. She graduated with her excellent achievement in Drama. She made her debut in theaters with “Rent” in which she shared the stage with Adam Pascal, who is her childhood friend. The drama received positive reviews from the critics, and the audience loved the performance of Idina.

Following the success, Idina gained confidence and launched her solo album, “Still I can’t be still”, it did a good business and established her as a singer.
