Dileep Raj is an Indian Actor, Director, and a Producer, who predominantly works in Kannada Film Industry. He has worked in over 24 films. He was born in Bangalore, Karnataka. He completed his education at Bangalore. He always showed keen interests in Drama and Theatre. During his college days, he used to make short Films and entered in various competitions too. He is married to Srividya. They both fall in love during their college days. They have two daughters. The names of their daughters are Aditi and Drithi. Dileep Raj started his career as an actor after he completed his college. He began acting in famous TV serials like Janani, Ardha Satya Rangoli, Kumkuma Baghya, Mangala Malebillu, Preetigaagi, and Rathasapthami. All of the daily soaps were made after taking inspiration from the real incident. Kumkum Bhagya is a Hindi TV serial created and developed by Ekta Kapoor, directed by Sameer Kulkarni, Sharad Pandey, Saurabh Archana, and Kashyap.

After tremendous success in TV serial and working as a supporting artist, Dileep Raj finally got to play in his movie as a lead role. He played the role of the lead actor in BoyFriend, a Kannada movie. After that, he did a movie in 2006. The name of the movie was 7 o’ Clock. This film was directed by Santosh Raj Pathaje, starring Pooja Kanwal, Mithun Tejaswi, Nithya Menon, Sneha, and Dileep Raj. After his success in Kannada film industry, Dileep Raj was offered many roles in the movies as supporting artists and also in lead roles. He played a role in both negative as well as heroic characters. He acted in many films, such as Milana, Ninagaagi Kaadiruve, and Kiladi Krishna. He also worked in “Gaana Bajaana”. This movie was directed by Prashant Raj, starring Tarun Chandra, Radhika Pandit, and Dileep Raj. In 2010, he worked in Sugreeva, directed by Om Prakash Rao, P.N. Sathya, A.P.
