The plot is set in the late 1990s or early 2000s including two girls in an era with no Internet or cell phones. The story is about Aadya and Aanchal, two college girls living on the same lane, who become friends and more.

Even though they are a little shy, neither can deny the immediate bond that develops between them. The endearing love story unfolding next has loads of beautiful moments and a blossoming relationship full of its ups and downs. As the director Roopa Rao says, “it’s high time that the notion of homosexuality being a taboo subject in India is broken and there is a dire need to understand that homosexual love is completely natural and beautiful.”
