Plot

Theeran is a sincere cop. He is assigned a job to investigate a series of murders. Who is involved in those series of murders? Did Theeran find out the murderers? What happens to Theeran? Why did the murders happen? To get the answers to these questions visit the silver screens.

Star Performance

Karthi has excelled in his performance as usual. Unlike Siruthai, Theeran is a different kind of cop film for Karthi. Rakul Preet Singh accomplishes her job with perfection. Abhimanyu has just stunned as a cruel villain. Bose Venkat proves the importance of his role. The rest of the actors have also supported well.

Analysis

H Vinoth has proved his mettle once again. Unlike the other cop thrillers, Theeran showed the issues faced by the real cops and how they fight against them. After the success of “ Aramm Click to look into! >> Read More... ” featuring “Nayantara,” Ghibran has yet another moment to cherish. His BGM is simply superb. Karthi is said to have opted out the body doubles and personally performed in the action sequences. Hats off to the stunt choreographer Dhilip for his stunning work in designing the stunt sequences!

What’s Not There?

The romance part in the second part of the film is unnecessarily inserted and it derails the story

Verdict

Theeran Adhigaram Ondru is the good action entertainer that takes Karthi to a next level. After a series of flops, Karthi has got a successful outing with Theeran. The film is a mixture of romance, action, comedy and sentiment. Vinoth proves his mettle once again and this film is enjoyable!
