Plot

Ashish Mehra, the middle-aged guy, is separated from his wife and family. Now, he has to convince his parents to get his girlfriend, Ayesha, married. Ayesha’s parents are Rakesh and Anju, who are of Ashish’s age. Will Ayesha’s parents accept her relationship with Ashish? Will Ashish’s parents accept this? The rest of the story follows this.

Star Performance

Ajay Devgan’s performance is good. He doesn’t feel for the comments made on him related to his age. His screen presence is highly impressive. Rakul is energetic and confident. Madhavan is a perfect cast. His performance is compelling, and he has good chemistry with all the stars. Gautami Kapoor and Ishita Dutta add grace to the roles given. Meezan’s cameo adds value.

Analysis

The story is routine like the previous one, but the execution is good. Ajay Devgan should be appreciated for taking things lightly, despite being a leading hero. The cast fit well in the roles. Gautami’s role should’ve been written better. The screenplay doesn’t move at the same pace. It oscillates and deviates from the track often. The music is one of the pluses in this film. The songs are good, and they are placed well.
