Plot

A person named Cobra assassinates the global leaders of India, France, and Russia. The case is handled by Aslan Yilmaz, a Turkish Interpol officer. While getting deeper into the case, Aslan learns that a Maths professor is involved in international assassinations. Judith Samson, a college student’s thesis about the assassinations, hints that a mathematician would’ve made these killings. With this, Aslam doubts Madhiyazhagan, a Maths professor. The rest of the film discusses the reason for the murders and who is involved.

Star Performance

Vikram has done his best. His body language is good for different getups he makes. Irfan Pathan fits well in the given role. Mirnalini, Srinidhi, and Meenakshi are okay with their roles. The rest of the stars have done what is required.

Analysis

The film created a huge expectation since the announcement. The script is good. Certain scenes are filmed well, and certain scenes are not. The first half was neat, and the second half didn’t have the expected grip. The director failed to keep the audience engaged, as the scenes became predictable in the second half. AR Rahman’s BGM and the songs are good. Bhuvan and Harish’s cinematography is impressive. The production values are good, and the film is technically strong.

Verdict

The film looks rich with visuals, BGM, and the star cast. If the second half had been gripping, it would have been better. However, Cobra is definitely a one-time watch!
