Plot

A psycho killer takes off the lives of a lot of people in Bangalore. A CBI officer named Anjali Vikramadithyan has been introduced in this case, to find out the killer and stop the murders. Meanwhile, the killer sends some message to the officers that his name is Rudra and this is a shocking matter, as the police department thought that they had killed Rudra, five years back. From this place, Anjali Vikramadityan starts chasing the villain Rudra. But, she is shocked that the killer Rudra is targeting her and family. Besides Rudra’s threats, Narayan the senior officer tortures Anjali. Arjun loves Krutika and they both are also the targets of Rudra. What links Anjali, Arjun, Rudra and Kritika? Watch the film in theatres!

Star Performance

Nayanthara has played the CBI officer role and she pulled it easily as usual. Atharvaa had also done his role well and his action and emotional sequences are also good. Raashi has done what is needed for her role. Vijay Sethupathi has once again proved that he could do any role and leave some impression behind his performance.

Analysis

Ajay Gnanamuthu has brought a good psychological thriller movie and this is not the usual psychological thrillers we had seen before. We should definitely appreciate Ajay for bringing in some unexpected twists and turns, which we could not even have guessed. Ajay didn't waste any time in introducing the hero, heroine and villain. He just gets into the story straight away. And we could notice that there are no explanation scenes. Music composition by Hiphop Tamizha is excellent. Some scenes between Atharvaa and Rashi should have been minimized, so as to minimize the runtime and this would have made the movie more crispy.

Verdict

Imaikkaa Nodigal is a complete psychological thriller, which doesn't allow us to guess anything. This shows the perfection in direction. Yet another success for Nayanthara, this year! Go watch the film in theatres and you will never be disappointed!
