Mamukkoya also known as Mamu Koya is a popular cine artist and Malayalam comedian. He was born on July 5, 1946, to Chalikandiyil Muhammed and Imbachi Ayisha and is currently 69 years old. He has done over 450 movies in his career. He is a very simple and yet so talented. He did his primary school education from Calicut, MM High School.
He got married to Suhara, and they have four children, Muhammed Nisar, Nadiya, Shahitha and Abdul Rasheed. He did his education till 10th and candidly says that he didn't want to spend his hard earned money on stationary and books. He started his acting career through theater and got his debut movie as Anyarude Bhoomi (1979). The movie Perumazhakkalam marked with ease than Mamukkoya is just not a comedy actor but can play non-comedian roles too. Acting is one thing that he says comes to him naturally.
He won the Kerela State Award for his movie, Perumazhakkalam. He has also won the Best Comedy Artist for Innathe Chintha Vishayam. His recent movie was Kohinoor.
