Plot
Sketch(Vikram) is a local rowdy with a good heart and makes a living by ceasing vehicles of those who don’t pay their dues. One fine day, he meets Ammu(Tamannah) while recovering her friend’s bike with his colleagues and friends. When Ammu argues with them on behalf of her friend, Sketch falls in love with her. Meanwhile, in a subplot, Sketch gets involved in a gang war with another group, which develops hatred toward him and swears to bring him down when the time comes. Sketch stalks Ammu. And after many contrived situations, she falls for him. But an incident gets the gangs and the police run after him. Eventually, he gets in deep trouble for stealing the main antagonist’s car with whom he has problems. Will they be able to escape from their enemies? Will Sketch be able to get her girl? How they overcome these problems forms the rest of the story.
Star Performance:
Vikram was apt for the role and showed a natural performance. He, as Sketch, tries his best to infuse energy and swagger into a character. His shaggy look and ease of acting help in bringing depth to the role. Vikram does well as a person with a carefree attitude and arrogance. Tamannah had a limited screen presence but portrayed well and delivered a mature performance.
Analysis:
In the climax, there is a message regarding the evils of child labor and how a society can help eradicate it. It is the high point in the screenplay of this movie. Writers and directors set this message as the center point and formed a film of crime, suspense, and romance. But the narration in the climax was a bit unappealing. The camera department kept things simple. Fights got captured, and the visuals looked good. Music plays an essential role as the music director did a commendable job with his uplifting background music.

Verdict:
Overall, Sketch is a typical mass entertainer with a Telugu flavor. The plot opens up only just minutes before the intermission. The mass elements work well with the audiences, and the romantic portions have also come out well. The movie goes well with the fans, though regular movie lovers might feel that the movie could still be the better one. On the whole, the film is a good watch.
