CAST & CREW
And 10 Endrathukkulla has finally got released! The film has created much buzz and it is only a feast for Vikram fans now. The film, touted to be a road movie (a genre not often touched by Tamil filmmakers), will surely sit in the minds of the fans.
Vikram essays the role of a car driver who will give you a jerk for your life with his fantastic speed. In fact he is considered as the topnotch driver in Chennai. And here there should be the perfect twist right? Vikram gets acquainted with Samantha who doesn’t know the ABCs of driving. And our hero takes on a journey with the heroine Samantha. This is a perfect road flick and would surely bring to your mind The Transporter.
For an actor of Vikram’s caliber, it is no surprise that he steals the show with his flawless performance. He oozes confidence in the film (just like in flicks like Dhool) which is a treat to watch. He doesn’t indulge in sentimental pieces. Instead just walks away with the credit, in a cool manner. With regard to Samantha, she shares a good onscreen chemistry with Vikram and is sweet.
To add luster to the villainous streak of the film, Pasupathy does a commendable job. If one had seen
Goli Soda he/she would surely remember the kids, who make special appearances in this flick.
The songs of Imman are ok and choreography of Sridhar is energetic. Vikram shakes his legs with much grace. The car sequences are good in bits and pieces. The locations in this film will surely catch your interest.
What’s not there?
When films of such genre are made the directors tend to stumble with regard to screenplay. Director Vijay Milton (of Goli Soda fame) too does the same mistake. The story is also in the predictable lines. VFX could have been looked after in a careful manner. Well, I tend to wonder why filmmakers fail to capture the second half in an engrossing manner. The second half of this flick too is quite dragging.
You can take this ride once.
