The young Indian model and South Indian actress Gimi George, who is widely known as Miya George, is a gift and promise for the Malayalam film industry. She was born on Jan 28th, 1992 in the busiest city in our country, Mumbai. Later she moved back to her native Kerala. She completed her schooling from Sacred Heart’s girl’s high school and St Mary’s higher secondary school, Bharananganam in Kottayam district. She did her BA at Alphonsa College and from Master in St Thomas College in Pala. Born as the second daughter of George and Mini, Miya George entered the industry through Television commercials (soap ads) and modeling projects. Later she acted in the television serial ‘Alphonsaamma’ which is screened in Asianet channel and also in Kunjaali Marakkar.
Mia entered in the Malayalam film industry as an actress through the movie ‘Oru Small Family’ which was directed by Rajasenan. She did the role of Manikutty in it. She also did small roles in the ‘Dr.Love’ by K.Biju and ‘Ee Adutha Kalathu’ by Arun Kumar. Though the movies did not click much, she was noted as an actress. Miya’s career as an actress took a turnover through the film Chettayees in which she played the role of Biju Menon’s wife. It was released in the year 2012.It was in this same year she was selected as Kerala Miss Fitness.
She has also acted in Tamil movie industry in the movies such as Indru netru naalai and Amara Kaviyam. Some of her most famous movies are Red wine, Memories, Mr. Fraud, Anarkali and Pavada. Some of her current works are for the movies
