Working on the same model as the horror comedy ‘Aranmanai 4’, the movie earned more than 55 crores worldwide, more than triple the total collection of ‘Demonte Colony’ in total.
For Priya Bhavani Shankar, the success of this movie was nothing less than a sigh of relief. She played an important role in S Shankar’s ‘Indian 2’, which tanked at the box office. The movie couldn’t even recover the budget, let alone become a commercial success.
