Plot
The movie stars three main characters friends Remy, Augie and Curt Myers. Remy is desperate to start a business but an unfortunate incident shatters his hope. Desperate and frustrated, Remy goes and borrows a spell book from a fortune teller. Frustrated Remy forces his friend Curt to do a specific blood oath spell but the spell goes wrong and Curt gets sucked up in a portal. Remy and Augie run towards the portal to save his friend Curt. But somehow, they find themselves sucked into hell. Soon, they are found by devils who take them to the demon. Deema, the so-called female lead is one good thing to watch in the whole movie despite been not given so much importance. The movie tries to show the power of friendship. What and how things unfold for the trio is what the movie is all about.
Star performance
Honestly, the movie’s only positive part is its star voice actors. Nick Swardson as Remington or Remy, Mila Kunis as Deema, Bob Odenkirk as The Devil, T.J. Miller as Augie, Rob Riggle as Curt Myers, Susan Sarandon as Barb the Angel, Danny McBride as Orpheus et cetera are the only good things to hear in the entire movie.
Analysis
This Netflix independent original disappoints right through its animation. The poor script writing along with the flow of the story will make you question your choices. The movie could have been much better in animation stuff. Although the background music matches the plot it could have been much better. The film is R-rated and thus has heavily offending sexual jokes, bad delivery of dialogues as well as timing and lacks the magical power of storytelling through animation. The movie is full of insensitive jokes about rape and also heavily contains dark humour. It is one thing trying to make a taboo topic being talked more about but it is another thing to make a complete mess of such topics. The movie could have used its animation to appeal to the children. Sadly, it just did the opposite. It straight away made itself Children toxic. The movie did one thing right and it is to show how insensitive topics could be made. The one character that shows some sensibility is Deema despite being hypersexualized. The movie lost a very good opportunity of making a sensible movie with a good base which in this movie was hell. At one point, one feels whether the movie is all about the fight between the writers or who could make more offensive jokes.

Verdict
The movie despite having some great voice artists fails to leave or even to make an impression. The story straightaway lacks a lot. The animation is right of the worst quality. It seems like the budget of the movie went straight into acquiring the voice artists. If you love watching and hearing R-rated jokes then this movie could be on your watchlist. But to be brutally honest, a movie lover would likely start questioning his life choices after watching this movie. The low budget could have been one of the excuses to make such a downgrade animation but the dialogues and delivery of them tell another story. Please, watch at your own risk.
