Plot
A group of gay friends, Eddie (Dylan Fergus), Jake (Bryan Kirkwood), Joey (Hank Harris), and Chaz (Andrew Levitas) are celebrating Halloween night in a neighbourhood of California. Eddie who plays the role of a police officer goes out to check a murder scene involving a gay couple among the woods unaware of the death following them. A masked man follows both of the friends in the wood who is the main antagonist of the movie. The incident does prompt some concern among the community but this does not stop the four friends from partying the next day. The mask wearing devil enters the club the next day decapitating two of the friends thus leaving only Eddie and Jake. The devil it seems like is on a mission to decapitate people and increase its count. The main characters then go on a hunt of surviving while exploring their personal life. What unfolds next and would the two of them make it out alive? Also being the love interest of each other is what the movie is about.
Star performance
Eddie and Jake played by Dylan Fergus and Bryan Kirkwood respectively very well carry the movie on their shoulder. The Devil however takes the limelight towards itself. It may seem at times that the character of Eddie is a little bland but he still does an amazing job of portraying the characters. Joey played by Hank Harris and Chaz played by Andrew Levitas though had a cameo were able to leave their mark. Nina Landey who played Maria just did the right act to support the characters throughout. All the other supporting actors did a good job. Needless to say, the story full of potholes was carried well enough by the characters.
Analysis
Although the movie was full of potholes yet the production and the directors did a good job of keeping the audience engaged. The movie takes us back to the original horror concept movies. Sone scenes are really disturbing but that scenes are what make this movie a worth watch. The editing is just on point. The scenes sequence makes it a lot more worthy. The background music is irritating and a better work could have been done. Some scenes may seem really inhumane to some audience. Discretion is really advised. The actors could have done a better work. The cinematography is really a plus point of this movie. The characters could have been written in more depth. Not revealing the identity of the devil was a clever move from the director’s side.

Verdict
The movie started a whole new genre of gay slashers. The success of the movie shows that it went well with the audiences. If you are looking for some very scary and out of the world plot then this movie will disappoint you. The movie gives the classic horror feel and is really gross at times. The writing could have been a lot better. The movie does not disappoint if seen with not a lot of expectations. Overall worth a binge watch.
