Thirunaal is a comedy, action, Tamil film. Ramnath is the director of the film. The lead cast of the movie is Jiiva and Nayantara. Thirunaal depicts the rowdy character. The role of the character is very much familiar to all of us. The film released on August 05, 2016 in the theaters.

Plot: The story of the movie depicts the rowdy character Blade played by Jiiva. He was an orphan child. Jiiva is a follower of Naga. The role of Naga is played by Sharath Lohitashwa. He is a gangster, who did various kinds of illegal activities.Blade did several murders on his saying. He tries to change himself after falling in love with Vidya who is a kindergarten teacher.Nayantara is playing the role of Vidya. The twist in the story is that she is a daughter of Naga’s partner Joe Mallory.

A gang kidnaps Vidya at that moment you will find Blade in the complete action scenes. In that situation, he expresses his feeling towards her. The role of A.S.P is played by Gopinath. He helped Blade to control all the illegal activities. So you can watch out this drama how Blade will manage to win his love against this gangster.

Analysis: It is a revenge drama based film. It does not possess anything new which you don’t know. The cast did their job fairly. You will get some romantic scenes to watch out. Some part of the movie is not clear at the several points. Blade change himself without any regret. This results in the illogical thinking. There should be guilt whatever he did in the past. The movie does not lift up as per the scene requirements. The direction is found weak for the storytelling part.

The film conveys the message that crime is dangerous, and it doesn’t pay much. The music given by Srikanth Deva is good. The editing of the film by V.T. Vijayan is not satisfactory due to the weak script. This same employs for the cinematography by Mahesh Muthuswamy.

Star Performance: Jiiva is the best performing actor. After the gap of few average films he gave good performance in Thirunaal but the scope of the script didn’t allow much to perform. Although, he looks good in the action and romantic scenes. Nayantara did a fair job. She performed the comedy and romantic scenes gracefully played. The role of SharathLohitashwa and Joe Mallory is fine. You will find little impact of an encounter expertise Gopinath in the film.
