Ramprakash Rayappa born on 1st January 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu is an upcoming Tamil cinema director.

He is known for the two movies he has directed namely " Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum" and " Pokkiri Raja". "Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum" is a social thriller which is also written by Ramprakash Rayappa. It stars ' Nakul', Dinesh Ravi, Bindu Madhavi and Aishwarya Dutta. The plot of the movie written by him revolves around a deadly bomb being activated based on various situations. Four people are interlinked, and that nexus defines the story. Ramprakash Rayappa earned critical acclaim for the movie. He was appreciated for his art of storytelling, and keeping the audience at the edge of the seat. The narrative was multi-starred, and he managed to make the film look simple and understandable, the chaos was in the film not the understanding of the film and that was lauded.

It was his debut film and the way he handled the sub plots and made them interesting made him popular with the audience. The film was also touted to be the first Tamil movie to be the perfect balance of romance, science and thrill. The critics also predicted that Ramprakash Rayappa would definitely stand out from all the contemporaries for striking gold at the very first attempt.

Then came Pokkiri Raja, his second film, which released on March 4th, 2016, he was very excited for the movie as reported by news daily. When he was asked about how different this film was from the previous one, he said that it was a fun fantasy which has a perfect mix of romance and thrill. He opines that any project can be made commercially if we believe in it. He is a huge supporter of creativity and says that with every movie, he likes to bring something new to the plate.

Kalanjiyam Tamil Actor


Kalanjiyam is an award winning director. He has directed many Tamil movies. He debuted with the film, 'Poomani' which released in 1996. It had Murali and the actress Devayani who were cast as lead characters for it. After the success of the first, Kalanjiyam made his second named 'Kizhakkum Merkkum' which hit the theaters in 1998. The story is about Suryamurthy and Thriller, they are siblings and their step-mother drives them out from her home. They help each other to face all the problems and grow up to earn a proper living. Suryamurthy tries to find a good husband for her sister. He comes across Kathalingam who is from a neighbouring village. He tries to find out about him and asks the people in his village, they review him positively and he fixes their marriage. Soon he finds about the villagers misleading him about Kathalingam, he is not a good guy as projected by them and is an alcoholic and also is engaged in an affair with Valli. It’s too late for him to change the scenario. Suryamurthy meets Mallika, Kath lingam’s sister with whom he falls in love with and her sister warns about Mallika but he ignores her. She disowns Suryamurthy and his brother plan a wedding for her with an educated person but it gets cancelled and Kathalingam marries Valli. Thriller is left alone and the plot ends there. He continued directing movies which includes Poonthottam, Mitta Miraasu, Nillave Mugam Kaattu, etc. in 2011; Kalanjiyam came up with Karungali in which he was in the lead role. The plot is about Kanimozhi who is a doctor by profession and she falls in love with Ravi when she witnesses his act when he tries to save someone’ life. She found out about his past and comes to know that he committed many murders and other illegal works. She thinks over her decision of being with him. On the other hand, Ravi is pleased in being with her since he could use her whenever he wants to fulfill his sexual desires. She thinks she can treat him and so she marries him. Meanwhile Amudha, a patient who is unable to give birth visits Kani for the treatment. Ravi sexual desires increases and he wants to have sex with her to calm down his needs. He manages to manipulate her and convince that he knows the cure to her problem. Kalanjiyam received many nominations and awards for his films which were super hit.


Thangam Saravanan

Born on 13th October 1983 in Madurai, India, Thangam Saravanan is an Indian Director and a writer. 'Anjala' is the movie which is supposed to be his debut vehicle. The movie is written as well as directed by him. He has studied in the Madura College Higher Secondary school and the Saraswathi Narayanan College. He came to fame with the release of Anjala. Anjala starred 'Vima'l, Nandita Swetha and 'Pasupathy' and was produced by the Farmer’s master plan Production. Gopi Sunder composes the film’s music. The film was being produced by a stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan. It went on floors in December 2013 but suffered production delays and hence was released in February 2016. Anjala was given 3 out of 5 stars by the critics. Some made remarks about the script and the film-making lacking the finishing that distinguishes a just another film from a recognized film. However, a majority of the critics was of the opinion that Anjala was based on a good foundation and consisted of good content, but it didn’t come out the way it was expected to. A top daily also quoted that Anjala establishes in the initial scenes itself that it is going to come after our emotions. Had the intention of the movie been more substantial, it could have made a mark. The film has a very unique plot penned by Thangam Saravanan, which connected with the audience. It consists of a fascinating story with elements of romance between the lead pair which is coupled with comedy all wrapped up in a tight screenplay. Though the movie Anjala got mixed reviews from critics, it was wonderfully accepted by the audience. It was writer- director Thangam Saravanan’s shot to fame, and clearly it struck the right chord with the audience. He has been actively working since 2013, and his next movie is awaited and anticipated upon.
