The screenwriting finalists’ names are ready and the name of the winners will be opened up on November 2nd. The Names of the five finalists have been announced for the 2015 'Samuel Goldwyn Writing Awards'. This Award is given since 1955 at the University of California in Los Angeles. To encourage the screenwriting enthusiasts, this award is presented by 'Samuel Goldwyn' Sr. Any UC campus students could participate in this. Emily Bensinger, UCLA, for the screenplay in “Harridans”, Noel Chalmers, for “Stinker”, Sean Dennison, for “Panacea”, Melissa Finell, for “Sensitivity Training” and Chloe Keenan, for “What I Did This Summer: By Sophie Crumb”. The judges are Robert Greenblatt of NBC Entertainment, Richard LaGravenese, the writer-director-producer and Shonda Rhimes, writer-producer. Who is going to win the first price of $15,000?
