Plot
NYC has a 90-decibel noise level, equivalent to a human's scream. The city under alien attack should be completely mute to save one's life from the hypersensitive aliens. Samira and her cat are trapped along with some patients and a nurse, Ruben. How they escape the aliens forms the rest of the story.
Star Performance
Nyong'o delivers a wonderful performance with her expressions. Joseph Quinn and Djimon Hounsou have delivered good performances.
 Analysis
The narrative is not clear. There are a lot of loopholes in the script. The cinematography is excellent in the film. Most of the close-up shots are perfect and showcase the real thrill. The water weakness of the aliens is well-known, but they didn't care about this. This is one of the biggest loopholes in the film. The first half has thrilling scenes, but the second half relies on drama. The CG works are fantastic. Jump scares are finely shot. The performances of the stars are one of the main positive points in the film.
