Plot

At the beginning of the movie, we see that Barry Allen regains consciousness; his lab has been destroyed. He sees a shadow for a few moments which disappears in the next moment he goes to the restaurant where Iris is a waitress but Barry does not know this. To his surprise, Iris doesn’t recognize him. They try to get to know each other again and plan to date. The next moment Barry sees a homeless man outside the window, he sees himself as a parallel. We find him on Earth two where Flash is fighting with Azo where he is beating Flash badly. In the next moment, we see Superman comes here and saves his life. He tells Flash to wait while he deals with Azo. While Superman was trying to punch Azo, he drained all of Superman’s energy. After which he became too weak, so Green Arrow comes to his rescue. Superman is very weak and needs treatment, but Superman says that he does not need to be taken to Star Labs. What will happen to him? The rest of the film continues with a lot of fun and fights.

Star Performance

Jensen Ackles performance is very natural in the film; also, he did fantastic work in giving voice to Batman. Altogether, this film is very engaging, with perfect pacing and appropriate voice acting. The film also comprises good direction, dialogues and an average storyline, which could have been improved.

Analysis

The storyline has no intro and dives right into the story assuming that the viewers know all the characters and their back stories. The film portrays a cosmic wave that is destroying multiple earths simultaneously and the heroes are coming together to fight the wave. If someone didn’t know the characters well then you may feel lost. Altogether, its storyline is complex to follow. The first half of the film has no relation to the crime discussed in the rest of the film and gets an unnecessary slot of screentime. In some parts the film seemed to be rushed but altogether the film is a good watch.

What’s There?

  • Humour was good in the film.

What’s Not There?

  • The characters and the way the story introduced was confusing for someone who is not usual to the characters.

Verdict

The film has too many snaps going on at a time. It has too many characters and is very confusing to watch without any background story. Altogether, it can be a good one-time watch.
