Guna Balasubramanian

Besides being a music director, Guna Balasubramanian is also known as a playback singer in the South Indian film industry. The Tollywood composer was born in Aganampudi, Andhra Pradesh.

Guna moved to Chennai in 2008 to pursue engineering. However, he left it midway to join Viscom. Initially, he began singing during college fests and owned a music band with his friends back then.

Although he started as a singer, Balasubramanian segued to music direction, scoring music for short films and jingles. It was then that he was contacted by the director of the film Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam.
