Anasuya Bharadwaj

Anasuya was born on 15th May 1985. She resides in Hyderabad.  Anasuya completed her MBA at Badruka College in 2008. After completing her post-graduation, she joined a company as an HR Executive. Anasuya is married to Sushank Bharadwaj and has two kids.

She started her career in television as a News Reader in Sakshi TV. She anchored many TV shows like Thadaka for ETV and Maa Mahalakshmi for MAA TV. She worked as a VJ for the program Morning Mantra for MAA Music channel and gained popularity. Her famous TV shows include Jabardasth for ETV and Bindaas for ZEE Telugu. Anasuya is an Engineering graduate who had plans of working in USA. Then she got the offer to work as a part time host for some TV shows. Earlier she did it for fun, but later on she took this profession seriously and became a full time anchor.

While working as an anchor for Sakshi TV, she dubbed her voice for Vedam directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Paisa directed by Krishna Vamsi. In 2003, she appeared as a law student in an uncredited role in Naaga with “N T Rama Rao Jr.” In 2016, she shared the screen space with Akkineni Nagarjuna in Soggade Chinni Nayana. The same year, she appeared as ACP Jaya Bharadwaj in “Kshanam.” She got the Best Supporting Actress -Telugu for Kshanam 2nd IIFA Utsavam and 6th SIIMA Awards. In 2018, she played in “Rangasthalam” with Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. In 2019, she received the Best Supporting Actress – Telugu award at the 8th SIIMA Awards and the Best Supporting Actress – Female award at Zee Cine Awards Telugu for Rangasthalam. Anasuya hosted a lot of award shows and game shows, including Zee Kutumbam Awards, Star Maa Pariwar Awards, and Okarikokaru Awards. She also hosted the US Concert by Devi Sri Prasad. She also hosted the show Jackpot on Gemini TV. In 2021, she presented MasterChef India Season 1 on Gemini TV and Aagattuntava Eegattukostava on Star Maa.

In 2021, she appeared in the films Thank You Brother and Pushpa. The next year, she debuted in the Malayalam film industry in Bheeshma Parvam with “Mammootty.” In 2022, she played the lead role in “Darja” with Sunil Varma. In 2023, she starred in Michael, “Rangamarthanda,” Vimanam, Prema Vimanam, and Peddha Kapu 1. In 2024, she appeared in Razakar and Pushpa 2. The same year, she made her Tamil debut with Flashback. The film, directed by Don Sandy featured Prabhu Deva and Regina Cassandra with Anasuya.
