Vimalraj is an actor cum dancer working in the Indian film industry. He is a classical dancer. Vimalraj’s mother worked at the GH as the Nurse Superintendent. Vimal is married and has a son.

Vimal learned Bharathanatyam from Rajkumar Master, after his uncle suggested that he enter the film industry. He has performed in nearly 2000 films as a dancer. He entered the film industry in 1982 as an assistant choreographer to Sundaram Master.
