Santo Krishnan was an Indian athlete and stuntman. He was quite active in weight lifting, and He married Kochukutty Amma, who unfortunately died before him in 2012. He died of long-term sickness on June 6, 2013, at the age of 93. The couple had no children. He worked in a Telugu, Kannada, Hindi films.

Krishnan was a stuntman and had a good physique, this termed his name as Sando, and he was popularly known as Sando Krishnan. His debut in the film industry was in 1934 in the silent movie ‘Bali Sugreeva’ as Angada.

Much of appreciation was gathered due to his role in ‘SampoornaRamayanam’ as Hanuman. His last film was ‘MeesaMadhavan’ in Malayalam. Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair was the one who appreciated his skills. Noted stunt master Thyagarajan was his disciple. Though he had a son from his first marriage, yet at the time of grievances, the only source of income for him was ‘Kaineetam’. He was a simple man who did his job in a sober manner.
