Ammanath Babu Chandran is popularly known as Idavela Babu. He is a movie-serial artist, anchor, dubbing artist, event manager and a businessman from Kerala. Babu’s debut movie Idavela was released in the year 1981. Babu was born at Irinjalakuda as the son of Mr. Raman and Mrs. Santa. Babu was deeply interested in dancing since his childhood and has won several prizes and scholarships. Babu is currently the Executive Committee Member of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (Amma).
