Shelly was born in the year 1983 in Trivandrum, Kerala. She is a Film Actress and a Television Artist. Her father is a civil engineer, and her mother is a homemaker in Dubai. Armed with a few degrees, she has three in her kitty including a diploma in mass media and sociology with a post-graduation in e – governance too. She has a brother and a sister as her siblings in the family.

In her television stints, she has Kumkumapoovu aired on Asianet, which went on to completion of 785 episodes which are remarkable. Parasparam on Asianet is in its 370th episode. She has also acted in various other serials including, Thaniye, Chitrasalabham, and Koottu Kudumbam to her credits. She has acted in a lot of movies too and to her fame the movies include, Kerala Café in which she features in the short film Island Express as part of the ten short films intertwined. was another movie in which she has acted.
