Giridhar Arikode

Giridhar (also known as Giridhar Arikode / Giridhar Aricode) is a Malayalam TV serial and cinema actor. He is from the Malappuram district in northern Kerala. He acts in Mazhavil Manorama’s serial Balarami playing the role of Anand, the husband of Abhirami (Alanteena). He debuted on the silver screen with 2013 's Akam (Inside), a suspense thriller directed by Shalini Usha Nair.

Based on Malayattoor Ramakrishnan's classic psycho-thriller novel Yakshi, the film is about a man (Fahad Fazil) who begins to suspect that his spouse is a devil. Although his role was minor, the film was exhibited at the Dubai International Film Festival and the Shanghai International Film Festival, the latter under the World Panorama section. He is however most well known for Balarami. The serial is an adaptation of Peythozhiyum Neram, a novel published in a weekly magazine. Giridhar’s role in the tele film Kunnummal Kunjaminayum, Kura aukarum was recognized with an award at the Balan K Nair Short Film Festival. He also received the Best Actor Award for his performance in Balarami in August 2014.
