Geetha Poduval

Geetha Poduval is a well-known TV and Malayalam film actress and a motivational speaker. She was born on 10th November in a middle-class Malayali family in Ahemdabad. She completed her studies from Seventh Day Adventist School and knew different languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, and English. Later, she joined CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India) and passed the internal officer's grade examination. She handled many audits for twenty years including the UN Audit in Western Africa and, voluntarily retired in 2014 as Senior Audit Officer.

Then she pursued her career in her hobbies, which are Bharatanatyam, singing, and acting. She made her debut in the Malayalam film industry with ‘Vellivelichatthil’ in 2014. She was the second lead actress in the film as John Brittas’ wife. She worked many movies like Kandethal – The Revelation (2016), a corporate movie for Rohm and Hazz. Her journey in the TV industry started with a talent show on Amrita TV. She did a Malayalam TV serial ‘Crime Branch’ in 2014, where she played the role of Assistant Commissioner of Police on Kairali TV Channel. She also did a commercial advertisement with Shahrukh Khan for Nerolac Paints. She also wrote short stories and articles for magazines like Femina and Woman's Era.

She has been hosting events since 2014, has anchored in more than ahundred shows in India and in abroad, whether it be award functions, cultural programs, music concerts, corporate events, or social events. She has conducted several pieces of trainingand attended various events as a speaker. She was a speaker at TEDxYouth@JGIS, PRCI, and YCC seminars and training sessions. She speaks on women-centric topics, tips to manage life and life goals, how to influence, Program for Nursing and Healthcare Support Staff,etc.

She is the founder and director of DRZYA, which is the only firm in India which trains differently-abled, provides the platform to showcase their skills and earn for themselves. She is also the mentor of the differently-abled artist group ‘Flaming Wheels’ We are one trust. She has received many awards like Juries Special Award - Communication through Social Media 2017 by PRCI for contributing to the PR profession, Indywood Media Excellence Award 2017, and honored by The Western India Football Association (WIFA) for her contribution in training the Coaches.
