Parvathamma Rajkumar is an Indian Film Producer and Distributor. She worked in the Kannada Film Industry. Parvathamma was born on the 6th of December in the year 1939. She was born in Saligrama, Mysore. Her father’s name is Appaji Gowda, and her mother’s name is Lakshmamma. She had seven siblings.
She is the second of the eight kids their parents had. She married her brother-in-law Singanalluru Puttaswamy Mutturaju popularly known as Rajkumar on the 25th of June in the year 1953. Her husband Rajkumar was a popular Kannada Actress. They have three sons and two daughters.
Their names are Shiva, Raghavendra, Puneeth, Lakshmi, and Poornima. Parvathamma started a production house named Sri Vajreshwari Combines and Poornima Enterprises. Her first film as a producer had her husband as the lead actor. The film was Trimurthy. She also produced many other films which had her husband as the lead role liked Shankar Guru, Bhakta Prahlada, Guri, Aakasmika, and many more.
She also produced a few films which had her sons
as the lead actors. Parvathamma won many awards like First Best Film in the years 1982-83 and 1992-93. She won four Filmfare South Awards. Parvathamma died on the 31st of May in the year 2017 due to a Cardiac Arrest.
