AMR Ramesh is a South Indian director who has written and directed movies in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films later dubbed in Malayalam as well as Hindi. He was born in Hanumantha Nagar in Bangalore. He is married to the well-known producer S. Indumathi and resides in Bangalore. He debuted as a director in 2004 with the movie ‘Santhosha’. However, he gained recognition with his second directorial venture in 2006 with the Kannada film ‘Cyanide: The Inside Story’ revolving around the incidents surrounding the assassins of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
