Malavika Avinash is a South Indian film actress, notable television serial performer and an acclaimed anchor. She was born to N Ganesan and Savithri. Her mother was a famous writer, an acclaimed vocalist and an accomplished dancer. She started learning Bharatanatyam even from her school days. She also learned Sitar in her early teen ages. Her entry into the profession of acting came as a surprise when the famous director G V Iyer happened to see her dancer concert and made note of her. He gave her a chance as Krishna in his movie “Krishnavathar” and it was a colossal success. Following it she performed in a children’s movie “Nakkalla Raajakumari” directed by Prema Karanth’s and it received grant recognition.
She took her graduation in Bachelor of Law at Banglore University with 3rd rank. She married a national and state award winning actor Avinash.

. However later she turn her attention to Mini screen industry which gave her extreme adoration than ever before. Malavika is not a character who is known only in film circles. She campaigned for

in 1999 in Bellary. She joined BJP in 2013 and now play an active role in politics.
