Oru Melliya Kodu is a thriller movie. It was in rumors that it would be based on a real- life incident, but later it wasn’t due to some reasons. It shows the murder mystery of a woman. It has been constructed on a Spanish thriller.
Plot: The story of the film has been narrated in the non-linear pattern and thus engages the audience in seeing the flick. It tells about the murder mystery of a famous woman entrepreneur who was killed and her corpse in kept in a morgue for the doctors to do a post-mortem. But soon after that, it was found that the corpse got missing. The cops were starting to suspect her husband as he would have killed his wife for her wealth and now have dumped the body somewhere, where the police cannot find the body, so as to destroy all the evidence.
It shows whether the police will be able to solve the case and catch the killer and the victim will get justice, or the murderer will walk freely without being convicted. The other question which was raised is whether the woman is dead??
Analysis: The movie has been directed by AMR Ramesh, which is his third flick as a director. His last two films had been based on real incidents. This was also to be centered on an actual situation about a murder of the wife of a politician but has deviated from the track.

1. The film is full of suspense, and there is always a twist in the story which the people are not able to guess.
2. Music of the flick has given that horror effect to the picture. It adds charm to the plot.
3. The scenes laid to make the audience sit in their seats to the very end.
What’s not there?
1. The story could have been more appealing.
2. The characters had not been appropriately sketched.
3. It is a bit too long and needs some editing.
Verdict: With all those actions packed scenes to those acts held between the couple, OruMelliya Kodu, is an engaging thriller movie and thus could be watched once.
