Miley Cyrus is a popular name amongst youngsters. She was born in Franklin, Tennessee. Having lived in a countryside wide 500-acre land, she took the strong decision to shift her base to Hollywood and try her hand at acting/singing. Her birth name was Destiny Hope Cyrus, which she officially changed to Miley Cyrus in 2008. Miley is short form for Smiley, which is her nickname. Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus belongs to the singing background too. Cyrus completed her education at Heritage Elementary School and followed the religious belief of Christianity. Her acting career began at a mere age of 11, when she starred as Miley Stewart in the Disney TV show Hannah Montana. This show gave her immense popularity and made her a youth icon. Interestingly, she auditioned for the role of Hannah’s friend but eventually ended up getting the lead role.

During her venture as Hannah Montana, she released many albums in the same name such as The Best of Both Worlds, I Learned From You, and more that constantly topped the charts like Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200. Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah became the first song under her original name, and it continued to fetch her success. Ready, Set, Don’t Go featured on Hot Country songs at the top. The second season of Hannah Montana ran from April 23, 2007 to October 12, 2008 and then she later signed a four album deal with Disney.

Her album, ‘See you again’ fetched her 10th position on Billboard Hot 100 chart. She went to Best of Both World tour in 2007, which was a successful event of her life. The year 2008, however, brought some unwanted controversies, but her songs like seven things remained the center of attraction of the popular charts. She fetched a Golden Globe Nomination award for I Thought I Lost You. Miley starred in the film, Hannah Montana: The Movie, where she co-wrote the songs and performed the lead character as well. Her song, The Climb, and Party in the U.S.A brought her huge popularity. Her singles like ‘Can’t be Tamed’ and ‘Who owns my heart’ brought her into the adult limelight making her aloof of the teenage fan following and Hannah Montana image. She then took a break in 2009 from singing, to focus more on her acting career. She went on for Gypsy Heart Tour to send out her love for fans. Simultaneously, she was also a part of many charity events. Her album, We Can’t Stop made here VEVO certified. She was in a relationship with Liam Hemsworth till 2013, after which her closeness grew towards Patrick Schwarzenegger.
