Janelle Monáe Robinson professionally known as Janelle Monáe was born on December 1, 1985, is an American songwriter, singer, model, and actress. The Audition was her first unofficial studio album. Monae released her first full-length studio album named “The ArchAndroid” in the year 2010 which was a sequel to her first extended play. Bad Boy Records released her first album. This album got many appreciations and bagged a nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album at 53rd Annual Grammy Awards. This album reached the 17th spot on the Billboard 200. She has won many Awards for her music including six Grammy Awards. The Electric Lady, released on September 10, 2013, was her second studio album. In recognition of her Social leadership and artistry Boston city council named October 16, 2013, as “Janelle Monáe Day” in the city of Boston, Massachusetts.
