A.J. McLean’s full name is Alexander James McLean. He was born on 9th January, 1978 in West Palm Beach, Florida, U.S. At present his age is 39. He is an American and people also call him A.J., Alexander J. McLean, Alexander McLean, Bone Daddy, Alex, Johnny No Name and Mr. Cool. He is the only child of his parents he had a twin sister but she died at the time of their birth. He is a very popular Singer, Actor, Model, Songwriter and Dancer as well he is a Multi-Talented person. He started his career in the year 1986. He was married to Rochelle McLean in the year 2011 and he is also blessed with a child. His genres are Pop, Pop Rock and R&B. He plays many instruments like Vocals, Bass Guitar, Drums, Guitar, Saxophone, Piano and Violin. His voice is magical and he plays the instruments amazingly.

At a very small age McLean performed on the stage and then he discovered his interests in acting, singing and dancing. He has also done ballet for four years, hip hop, ballroom, salsa and much more and when he was five years old he opted for modelling. When he turned six he participated in many plays in his school like ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ and did a great job. The producer of the Latin Festival liked him very much and hired him for a 45 minutes one man show.

In the year 1992, McLean became an official member of the ‘Backstreet Boys Group’.
