River Reeves was born on 14 December 1996. Reeves had three siblings Molly Reeves, Gabriel Reeves Stella Judson and Fin Reeves. River Reeves’ mother Miranda Reeves is an actress worked in movies like Tart, Dark side and many other Hollywood movies.
Miranda gifted him a guitar when Reeves was six; he was so passionate about music and guitar that he was never found without it since that day. Revees’ gusto for music continued, he moved from Penzance to Warrington in 2004, and joined Bridgewater High School to explore more on music and acting.
He started pursuing his interest by joining various bands and groups. He joined Priestley College, Associate College of the University of Salford. Revees was moving ahead with flying colors and made it into The Ardent school of Theatre, Manchester College in 2015 at Manchester. Revees’ zest and interest towards music had opened ways for various opportunities.
In April 2015 he had joined the Viola Beach and became best mates. Viola Beach was a group of 4 highly talented music artists; this Indie rock group was formed in Warrington. This quartet had done tremendous work and composed with rocking music.
Unfortunately, the grievous incident in the life of this band occured on 13th February 2016 bandmates Kris Leonard, Jack Dakin, Tomas Lowe and manager Craig Tarry were all killed in Sweden. The most tragic incident had abruptly ended the lives of these shining stars.
But their talent did not fade away the bandachieved first place in the charts with a total of ten tracks recorded by Communion Records in 2016, showing their talent kept them alive. The famous band Coldplay has also joined Viola beach boys to sing for Glastonbury Festival.
To keep the young talent alive and going, River Reeves Foundation was established with the aim “River dreamed big can you,” which achieved charitable status in December 2016. The charity aimed at providing financial support to the artists who are in need of funds to pursue their career in music and performance.
This noble cause was initiated and set up by River’s family and friends to ensure that young talents have a bright future in the field of music and arts. Let’s hope that this initiative helps the needy and passionate people to achieve their dreams and the band is remembered forever.
