Melissa Joan Hart is an America based actress. She is not only an actress but a director, a producer, a singer, a fashion designer and a businesswoman. The 36 years old actress is illustriously known for her role as the protagonist in “Clarissa Explains is all” , “ Sabrina, The teenage witch” , and “Melissa and Joey”. Hart was the daughter of Paula and William Hart. 

She was the primitive child of her mother, Paula talent manager, her father, a carpenter, shellfish purveyor, clam hatchery worker and an entrepreneur. She is the eldest of all. Other children of her parents are Trisha, Elizabeth, Brian, and Emily. All of them have pursued acting. Melissa also has three stepsisters. Hart was designated after Allman brothers’ song “Melissa”.

She was baptized as “Catherine”, but Hart does not use this confirmation name professionally. She made her on-screen debut when she was just 4. She promoted a television commercial for bathtub doll, which was named “splashy”. It was just the first step. Rest was yet to come. After her initial television commercial, she became regular with the commercials. She worked in more than 25 commercial before the age of five.

Making a debut in the business field in 2009, she opened her candy shop she named after her last name “SweetHarts” in Sherman Oaks, California. In an interview, she said that it had been her “childhood dream” to own a candy shop which came true in 2009. Melissa tied a knot to the musician, Mark Wilkerson on July 19, 2003.

Now she is having three children with her husband. In 2015, Hart and her husband commenced their own fashion line labelled “King of Harts”. She also owns a production house “Hartbreak Films” She once commented that she and her family are devotees of God by heart and soul. She stated that they “...attend church every Sunday.......pray every night and before every meal”.
