Melanie Griffith is an  American actress who made her debut as a child artist. Her role in ’The Garden’ (Ha-Gan) is a 1977 Israeli film even surprised many bigwigs of the film industry. In this movie, she starred as a young dumb girl. This actress received a nomination for Academy Awards for her role in 'Working Girl'.

But ultimately this film fetched her a Golden Globe. She is a born actress who appeared in a commercial at the age of nine months and later did some roles in some movies as a extra too. But her real acclaim came when she appeared in several nude scenes at the age of 17 in Arthur Penn's Night Moves (1975).

Her another notable film was 'Underground Aces' which starred Dirk Benedict and Melanie Griffith. In the same year, her film 'Roar' met with box-office failure.

The film is still considered to be most dangerous shoot in the history of cinema as all the leading stars had close encounters with jungle animals and met with injuries, and there was real blood on screen.

In the year 1984, she acted in 'Body Double’ for which Brian De Palma was the director, and the film also starred Craig Wasson, Gregg Henry. She grabbed the heroine role which was supposed to go to the actress Annette Haven.
