Kelly McGillis

Kelly McGillis was born in California, U.S. on 9th July 1957. She is an actress by profession and is in the industry since 1983. Her mother, Virginia Joan is a house maker and her father, Dr. Donald Manson McGillis is a medicine practitioner. She received her primary education in Los Angeles and later graduated from Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, California. In 1979, Kelly married Boyd Black but after three years of their marriage, they decided to call it off since their understanding was poles apart. In 1982, two men broke into Kelly’s apartment while she was living there with her girl friend, they were assaulted, abused, this incident inspired her to play the role of a lawyer in the 1988 release, “The Accused”. Kelly’s life is filled with difficulties where she doubted about her sexuality even after having married twice, but in 2010 she announced that she is a lesbian. She currently resides in North Carolina and is a tutor at the New York Studio.
