DeRay Davis is an actor and a standup comedian from America and was born in Illinois. He started his career as a comedian in comedy clubs. Later after shifting to Los Angeles, he became the winner in the competition ‘Comedy Central Laugh Riots’. His talent and skill as a comedian stood out in Cedric the Entertainer. DeRay Davis has also worked in many movies like Barbershop 2 and Barbershop. He has appeared in television shows like Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out (MTV), Empire, Comic View (BET), Entourage(HBO), Hip Hop Squares (MTV) and Reno 9111.
Davis has also hosted a game show ‘Mind of a Man’. Davis has also made several appearances in Kanye West’s music albums like Late Registration and The College Dropout. He had received acclaim for impersonating Bernie Mac, another standup comedian. He has also appeared in the music video of West for the album Through the Wire. Some of his other appearances include Yo (Excuse Me Miss), Long Way 2 Go, Doe Boy Fresh and Game over. He is one of the scant artists to have entered the theatrical remake of 21 Jump street.
