Zachary Michael Pearlman better known as Zack Pearlman, was born on May 19th, 1988 in the city of Royal Oak, Michigan, US. The son of Susan and Mark Pearlman, he is best known as Zack in '' The Virginity Hit'', because it is the first movie of his career. Not long after graduating from Pioneer, Pearlman was taking classes at Washtenaw Community College when he decided to drop out. From there he was doing stand-up comedy, and he felt that he was restraining himself from fulfilling his full potential at that point, an interview claimed. He was a teenager of age 18 or 19-years with an ignorant attitude who had insane aspirations.

While working at the game store Get Your Game On on Packard Street, Pearlman spotted info about a ‘Funny or Die’ contest that asked applicants to submit an embarrassing story on film. The price was the chance to audition for a new movie. And Pearlman was ready to do anything for this audition. Pearlman's embarrassing moment happened at age 16, when his sister, Allision walked in on him during, well, a private moment. Pearlman decided to involve his sister in the telling of this story on film, well her sister was not aware of this fact. She thought she was just helping him. ''It turned into a really chucklesome thing, and he put this on Funny or Die''. ''Then after few days, he got a call from (a casting agency) in New York.

They said, 'If you want to, you can fly yourself out to New York, and we have an audition for this movie that we want you to do.' And he was like, 'Okay.' So not knowing anything, he spent the his remaining mitzvah money to fly himself out to New York on, like, two days notice.'' Pearlman met up with a high school friend- who lives in Hell's Kitchen, and who agreed to provide Pearlman with a place to stay. ''After reaching New York and after attending the audition, he got a phone call from a 212 number. He was groggy, and the phone woke him up, and he was like, ' Hello'? And they said, 'Hi, this is (the casting agency) calling for Zack Pearlman.'

So he was like, 'Oh, did I leave something there?'' No, but he was invited to the audition. And at this point, he was just frozen in time. He had no idea what was going on. It was his first day in New York, it was his first audition ever, so he had no idea. After sometime, Pearlman returned to Ann Arbor. It had already been 2 weeks since he came back from New York and still heard nothing. Riding with his dad, they entered into a tense discussion about Pearlman's future. ''He was kind of secretly deciding that he was going to move out to New York or Los Angeles, take classes, and then try to be an actor without a college education''.

They started having this big argument about whether he should go back to school, or try the actor thing. After getting more frustrated Pearlman decided to step away, and after some time he got a call, and this time it was from Los Angeles, and they had called to tell him that he was one of the three finalists for this part, and they were going to flying him out the next day. Pearlman flew to Hollywood. After meeting with Matt Bennett, his cast-star, Pearlman and Matt quickly became friends.

It was the beginning of Pearlman's acting career. After The Virginity Hit, he featured in Hot Bot in 2014, Staten Island Summer in 2015, The Intern in 2015, and ‘Why him?’ in 2016. In 2011, he was cast in Breaking in. In 2012, he was cast in Key and Peele.. In 2013, he was cast in Workaholics, Community, The Power Inside. From the year 2014 to 2015, he was cast in Mulaney. In the year 2016, he was cast in Shameless. Pearlman is now producing, writing, directing, and starring in various films. He proved that an ordinary child can do anything, if he has dedication and determination.
