Plot
Ned Fleming, a doting father, finds himself hating his daughter Stephanie’s new billionaire boyfriend, Laird. Ned visits his daughter in California during the holidays and stumbles upon meeting her new billionaire boyfriend. He questions why his daughter chose this foul-mouthed and eccentric guy as her partner. He keeps evaluating if he is suitable for his daughter. Laird tries his best to win over his father-in-law’s heart.
Star Performance
James Franco and Bryan Cranston did an excellent job as Laird and Ned as polar opposites. Other supporting roles also did a great job making this film more enjoyable.
Analysis
This is a Rom-Com that is very entertaining and funny. Leaves you feeling satisfied with its light-hearted story. It gives you a good laugh. The film’s casting is what makes it good. A lot of people have different opinions on the humor part, but it has good humor which is bad at times. It has great cameos throughout the movie. The script lacks in some scenes but the acting keeps it under cover. It is a good film which is fun to watch.
