The Intern Teasers, Trailers, Videos & Songs
The Intern is a movie directed and co-produced by Nancy Meyers, who also directed films like It's Complicated, The Holiday etc. This 2015 movie is starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathway in the leading roles. The comedy is majorly all about a 70yr old, Ben (Robert De Niro) who rejects the idea of retirement and joins as an intern in About The Fit, a fast growing fashion website executed by Jules Ostin (Anne Hathway).
He is one of the four interns hired. In the movie he portrays the role of a backbone or support to everyone personally and professionally as well especially to Jules. He even develops an affair with his fellow office mate, Fion ((Rene Russo) which makes him even more like a father figure of the office. The movie also stars Ander Holm as Matt, Jules' husband who was the home maker here. He also has an affair with a parent in their daughter's school. Meanwhile, the investors of About The Fit put Jules under pressure to give up her CEO post as they felt that she was no more fit for it.
In an effort to give some time to her marriage and family, she agrees to hire a prospective CEO. Then, Ben encourages her to think about the past, the hard work she did and how this decision may effect the company. And later, even Matt returns to her to apologize and wants to work again on their marriage. Jules changes her mind regarding her business and finally relaxes and takes a chill pill with Ben. Nancy Meyers polished this film equally as other movies under her direction. And the box office numbers were also pretty sound for The Intern
