Peter Kwong

Peter Kwong is an English TV actor who was born in 1952. He was born and brought up in Los Angeles, California, USA. Apart from being a TV actor, he is also plays in movies. The actor studied Northern Shao lin Kung-fu. This helped him to perform stunts in films with ease. The actor is popular for his roles as Rain in Big Trouble in Little China and as Tommy Tong in Eddie Murphy’s Golden Child. Some of his eminent television series include ‘Sullivan & Son,’ ‘Malcolm and Eddie,’ ‘The Wayan Brothers,’ etc.

The actor has also played a lead role as Dr. Haing S. Ngor in the Survivor. He showcased his musical theatre skills in Mame with the late Juliet Prowse. A Cambodian Odyssey by Jon Lipsky at the Act Theatre of Louisville/ Humana Festival. Not only has he served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Academy of Television Arts and Science, but also, he has served with the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Heritage Week. The actor is also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science & Television Academy. The Lotus Festival, Los Angeles Miss Chinatown Pageant, Visual Communications, etc., also invited him as a chief guest.
